Camera production / power compatibility
Compare declared camera-rig power specs before a shoot.
Check manually entered voltage, current, connector labels, and total power for a camera rig without pretending to maintain a model catalog.

At least one device has a declared voltage or connector mismatch. Do not power it from this source without an appropriate, documented conversion or adapter.
- Source budget is calculated as 12 V x 10 A = 120.0 W.
- Connector text is compared exactly after trimming and case-folding. It does not establish pinout, polarity, negotiation, cable rating, or mechanical fit.
- The recommended budget includes 20% planning headroom and is based on the device voltages and currents you entered.
Know the boundaries
- No camera, battery, cable, connector, or protocol catalog is used. You must supply current documentation.
- A text connector match does not prove pinout, polarity, physical fit, cable gauge, USB Power Delivery negotiation, or safe operation.
- Devices at another voltage need a documented converter and a separate converter efficiency and rating check.
Examples are illustrative. Results depend on the assumptions and measurements you enter.
Method, not guesswork
RigCurrent Check is a declared-spec worksheet. It intentionally has no model catalog: camera accessories change quickly, and a nominal voltage or connector name alone cannot establish compatibility.

Read guideCommon questions
What does RigCurrent Check compare?
It compares entered source and device voltage within your tolerance, connector text after trimming and case-folding, and the watt totals calculated from the CSV rows.
Does a possible match mean I can connect the device?
No. Use it as a review signal, then check the device and source manuals for pinout, polarity, current behavior, cable limits, and any required conversion.
How is the recommended power budget calculated?
The engine sums required voltage times current times quantity for each row, then multiplies that total by one plus your headroom percentage divided by 100.
